Fleetwood, Pa. – Sophomore Mia Avotins (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) positioned fourth to steer the Le Moyne Faculty ladies’s golf crew to a fourth-place end on the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Sunday and Monday on the par-70, 5660-yard Moselem Springs Golf Membership.

Alvernia received the crew championship with a 663 after rounds of 328 and 335. Millersville College was second with a 681 following scores of 344 and 337, whereas the host Bears positioned third with a 706 off back-to-back rounds of 353. The Dolphins totaled a 715 to put fourth after rounds of 354 and 361. Alvernia’s McKylie Boreman earned medalist honors with a 153 following rounds of 76 and 77.

Avotins earned her fourth straight top-seven end with a 163. She recorded a 78 within the first spherical to land in second place after which posted an 85 within the second spherical.

Freshman Thais Forbes (Atlanta, Ga./Coral Gables (Fla.)) completed eleventh with a 175 off rounds of 86 and 89, whereas classmate Emily Barnes (Central Sq., N.Y./Paul V. Moore) completed in a three-way tie for twenty second with a career-best 187 after tallying scores of 94 and a career-best 93. Senior Elyse Maniccia (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) registered a 191 off rounds of 97 and 94 to put in a four-way tie for twenty eighth. Freshman Riley Stuver (Webster, N.Y./Our Woman of Mercy) positioned thirty second with back-to-back rounds of 96 to complete at 192.

The Dolphins are again in motion on Friday and Saturday at The Faculty of Saint Rose Fall Invitational at Pinehaven Nation Membership in Guilderland, N.Y.
