WOMEN’S GOLF PLACES SECOND AT SAINT ROSE FALL INVITATIONAL – Le Moyne School Athletics


Guilderland, N.Y. – The Le Moyne School ladies’s golf workforce moved up three locations on Saturday to complete in second place on the Saint Rose Fall Invitational, which was held on Friday and Saturday on the par-72, 5804-yard Pinehaven Nation Membership.

The Dolphins completed the 36-hole occasion with a rating of 702 to position second within the discipline of eight groups. The Dolphins opened with a 355 on Friday to land in fifth place after which jumped as much as second with a 347 within the second spherical. Franklin Pierce College completed in first place with a complete of 650 following rounds of 321 and 329. Adelphi College was one shot behind the Dolphins in third at 703 after rounds of 346 and 357. Franklin Pierce’s Kesinee Prukmathakul earned medalist honors with a 152 off rounds of 73 and 79.

Sophomore Mia Avotins (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) led the Dolphins with a 163 to position fifth within the discipline of 48 opponents. She opened with an 80 to position fifth and adopted with an 83 to stay in fifth.

Freshman Riley Stuver (Webster, N.Y./Our Girl of Mercy) completed in a four-way tie for 14th place with a 177. She tallied a 91 within the first spherical to land in twenty third place and jumped 9 spots on Saturday with an 86.

Graduate scholar Meghan McKeen (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) and freshman Thais Forbes (Atlanta, Ga./Coral Gables (Fla.)) have been a part of a three-way tie for twenty first with a complete of 181. McKeen recorded a 93 on Friday and adopted with an 88 to maneuver up eight spots. Forbes had a 91 within the first spherical and a 90 on day two to maneuver up two spots.

Senior Elyse Maniccia (Oswego, N.Y./Oswego) tied for twenty eighth place with a profession best-tying 186 following rounds of 96 and a profession high-tying 90.

The Dolphins return to the hyperlinks for the Northeast-10 Convention Championships on Sunday and Monday at The Ranch Golf Membership in Southwick, Massachusetts.
